Dr. Chris Ifediora is a Nigerian-born, Australian-based Family Physician who obtained his primary medical degree from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Nigeria. He also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool, United Kingdom.
Currently, he is Fellow, Medical Educator and Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, in addition to being a Senior Lecturer at the Griffith University School of Medicine, Gold Coast, Australia.
Dr. Chris has a big interest in human development and empowerment in Africa, and combines his professional and academic duties with various services to humanity in the continent. To this end, his involvement with the ATG allows him to contribute towards improving maternal health, while, through the “OCI Foundation” (of which he is the Founder and President), he champions other educational, health and diverse empowerment programmes.
